Every time you put mandatory slow mo in a movement based game I want to scream. PLEASE let me turn it off. I WANT more reaction heavy gameplay predicated on my own ability to learn the mechanics, make fast decisions, and aim and perform actions accurately. That's why I'm playing movement games in the first place!!!

Rollerdrome and Ghostrunner are two particularly notable examples. I find it also very interesting to note that Mirror's Edge had it as an optional mechanic and totally removed it in Catalyst to seemingly little issue/complaint.
