ok on mastodon I already said Michael Emerson but actually the one I've really been doing this recently over is a DIFFERENT Lost actor, Hiroyuki Sanada, who is like, increasingly THE go-to guy when you need an aging samurai type guy subtly disgusted by the ill behavior of the Youths. part of the reason we started Shogun is cause Sarah and I were like oh shit, Sanada's actually in a straight up headlining role where he can really show off his acting abilities? fuck yeah good for him!
