Haven't read it but that sounds like the kind of thing that would come up in the pre-Disney Plagueis novel, I think Darth Plagueis runs a big corporation as cover for Sith shit? The book also sounds pretty antisemitic ofc, like Plagueis being a Muun is already not a great start for that
