You need to beat Prime Cup Master Ball R2, with your Pikachu from Yellow selected for every match (So you’re always basically playing 2v3), and you can’t save or use ANY continues.

Oh and you need to select your team directly from your cartridge in the transfer pak, and most transfer paks barely work anymore due to shoddy design, so even if you leave it perfectly still in another controller, it may just randomly crash your game mid-match!

I always end up getting to the Cooltrainer with a Snorlax, who always seems to wall me with it, even when I try and use my Victreebel with swords dance and wrap, because it ALWAYS paralyzes with body slam turn 1, shutting down my whole strategy. And I can’t switch in to Gengar because it can just use earthquake. I guess I could try and get lucky with Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, or Hypnosis, but luck is rarely on my side with that. I guess I can keep throwing my team at it until I get lucky, but it sucks having to redo the first 5 fights each times since I can't lose a single time in a run. >~<
