As far as I’m concerned I’m a gosh darn cartoon cat, that selfie doesn’t represent me as well as my current work avatar. And I have tons of dysphoria about seeing my face on camera on top of that, I am not looking forward to having to keep the camera on for all meetings.

Camera off meetings just proving that most meetings are a waste of people's time and managers are upset that they're being proven wrong
i don't even have a good up to date selfie of me and i don't plan on getting one for a long time
See if they'll compromise by letting you use a VTuber Avatar. (joking)
