I've been getting really into RA lately, it's been fun to be able to get community-made achievements for retro games! I know a lot of people don't like achievements, but for me, they can encourage me to master a game or play it in unconventional ways, and I find that super fun~ >w<
I love playing roms on my MiSTer compared to software emulators, but now that I’ve gotten into RetroAchievements, I’m leaning more towards using RetroArch instead. Apparently there were talks about integrating RA a while back but there was some infighting about open source licensing minutiae so it got shot down, and that’s a real bummer >~<
