The map screen even changes based on the time of day and the seasons, it’s so cute!

There’s not a whole lot to the game beyond doing odd jobs during your day to earn money to buy decorations for your room, but it’s unfortunately a very slow grind. There isn’t much in the way of calendar events or social mechanics, and I feel like it was a missed opportunity not to lean into those more and make the town characters have some more depth than just being shop menus. I would have loved a fleshed out sequel to this for the Loopy, since the system could really do with a game that you could really sink your teeth into over multiple play sessions!
