in 5th grade i missed a day and we had a science test the next. there was a strange question that was something like "why don't roads release energy they receive from the sun during the day?". i remember thinking "what the heck did they teach yesterday" because that seemed like it came out of nowhere.
i answered "because they're too busy absorbing energy" and of course got it wrong. still not sure what they wanted. my best guess is it's a trick question and i was supposed to answer "they do release energy doing the day"
