the walgreens fridge tv died, and tvs are opaque so now it's physically impossible to tell what's inside the fridge

the employees have taken photographs of the fridge's contents, printed them on the largest paper they can get out of the photo-printer kiosk, and fucking taped them to the screen

thinking about this more and more and realizing the extremely grotesque margins on photo printing services these days even if they're also way cheaper than they used to be.

like, even 18 years ago you'd be fired for shit like this just because it cost them some nontrivial amount of money and you didn't have permission even if it was exactly this purpose

Titanium dioxide, or "Titanium White," is naturally white and does not need to be bleached.

The color on the right, "Unbleached Titanium," is actually a combination of titanium dioxide with black, red, and yellow iron oxides. It was originally created by accident due to contamination during manufacturing, and rather than throw it out or market it as "Desert Beige" or whatever, Bocour (a now defunct company from the same family as Golden Artist Colors) decided to promote it as a more, uh, natural form of titanium.

While many manufacturers still use the "unbleached" name, Golden now markets this color as "Titan Buff."
