only other thing I'd want with this is being able to categorise people by tags/makes lists so I can like, exclude accounts that are all shitposts, only see horny accounts, or whatever

Agreed, you should be able to put your friends in little boxes and store them away to pull out in times of need.
What good is a friend that you can't put in little boxes and just wanders around and then probably never comes back, huh ?
(trust me, I'm a friend expert, I've had as many as like, a dozen throughout my lifetime !)
