That bastard Andy took everything from me (Eagle) !
The game plays up that supposed rivalry but I'm not sure it's really balanced.

... and I undersold how lopsided the situation at the beginning was, we're ar 3k and two factories, the enemy has 8k three factories and an airport.
Anyway, brute force is quite often the answer it turns out. It makes a world of change destroying most of the enemy's units in just one attack. Max is skilled in direct combat, his drawback is that his ranged units have a shorter attack range. But playing Max I noticed that his copters did more damage than Eagle's which leaves me wondering how good at air combat he's even supposed to be.
Eagle's special is his biggest strength, it lets all his mechanical units move and attack again though with a slight malus in the first episode. It's a boon when he's in a good situation but on this map I just didn't have much to attack with.
Max's special is an attack boost that makes him even more formidable. So Eagle can only really shine on bigger maps I guess, if at all.

In other news I realized that I have a constant nagging fear of terrorism, which I expect to be from some radical islamists.
Growing up in Paris I guess that there has almost always been one thing or another.
When I was small there were the last of some actions from Algerian groups. There were smaller things until 9/11. It was far away but the French considered themselves potential targets. That year even Poland of all countries got paranoid.
Then you had the Charlie Hebdo thing and then the Bataclan and a whole lot of knivings peppered throughout.
Usually what happens is that the Vigipirate plan is put in motion which means military squads patrolling with their weapons, controls at the entrance of public places and curfews in extreme cases
I feel like I spent over half of my life here with the Vigipirate plan in action.
There are some public buildings that I have seen built that never had their main entrences opened because they are too large.
I don't think it qualifies as trauma or a phobia. These things do happen but I have very little agency over them, so it would be healthier if I didn't care I guess.

Today I beat the final mission of the Advance Wars 2 campaign. It was a tough one with a lot of obstacles to overcome and a time limit. After an attempt that went nowhere fast I'll admit that I consulted a guide on IGN that described a strategy that did work for me, though I was far from the S rank the guide was supposed to help you reach (I got a B with a victory on the very last day).
