That said, my baseline research into this is seemingly only being elevated by concurrence between publications. That said, Coal and Famine both produce lots of Autistic Queers after a few generations of effects. You'll note that current arguments about transgender identity mirror claims startlingly familiar with the "vaccines cause autism" crowd, and yes, that crowd tends to assume all cases of Autism are equivalent to Severe Cognitive Impairment (or 'Mental Retardation'). It is for this reason that I personally do not reframe from saying 'Retarded'; the ceding of the term to Industrialists and Social Conservatives allows them to use it to reduce me and mine into a small category. Following the tradition of Queer Reclamation, I refuse to let them dictate the meaning of the word.
