thanks for the question! the body is kind of like an outfit for it, just one that happens to also have a lot of utility for getting around and interacting with the world. the head contains all its power and consciousness, so when it unplugs from the body the body is non-functional. it prefers to do this at a storage unit in its home with support for the body and a raised platform to the side to comfortably hop off. in an emergency, it can unplug at any point, however the body will fall to the ground if not supported. both the head and body are fairly sturdy, but it still prefers not to do this. as a footnote the body could hypothetically be controlled by something other than the head if it could interface with it, which is something I may or may not explore in the future... also sorry this is really long but I hope that's a good answer ^_^
