however, i work in food industry, producing mostly for the domestic market, and yesterday was the second time (in less than a month) that i heard we were lacking ingredients because of the red sea the blockade (👍🏼)
while i'm not personally bothered by a lack of ingredients here, the blockade - something that's happening so far away - has had a tangible effect on my life, however small (a change in today's roster - though a pleasant one for me, for a change lol)
i guess it kinda makes me feel more connected to the world? like my actions could also have significant impact on the world that i live in, and not just my own little life.
i really appreciate that feeling.
