this is such a nothing statement. knowing tumblr, not a damn thing is gonna change.
kinda. like it's cool to hear from staff that they do not stand with matt on this, and that they themselves want to be more transparent with their userbase... but how much can they do, really?
they said they'll be working on tools both for users and staff, so given time, things might start getting better... but will they even get that time? the site's basically on life support now, so i doubt there'll be any sweeping changes in the near future - and matt himself said he'll be considering cutting investment altogether.
idk. i want to be optimistic about this, but the best i can do right now is "cautiously hopeful".
