kinda wanna just slap the trans flag pin i got back in january onto my bag, for the sake of pride... i don't think i will though :(
like sure i've already worn the nb and ace pins for a few years so it's no secret that i'm queer, but... that's still a little different :v
i can't recall a single time where i've been harassed or bothered over my nb or ace pins - i feel like (non-queer) people either are generally just WAY less familiar with those flags so they just ignore them, or just don't see them as "problematic".
but the trans flag? you bet everyone and their mother knows what that means. even if i were to not get harassed for wearing that one either, i just don't think i'd feel comfortable risking drawing such attention to myself. i'd still be self-conscious about it and on high(er) alert at all times while wearing it, and i'm honestly just Not About That .n.
