onto new heights :)

FFXIV... the main story of this game just... keeps on speaking to me. in various ways, across expansions, through so many characters, it's as if the game is trying to help me to get over my fears, shames, and perceived flaws, and to instead find the courage i need to be myself, reach out to others, and connect with them... and i wish i could!! but for personal struggles and external circumstances both, that is much easier said than done...

...the irony of connecting most with the single-player aspect of an MMO is not lost on me.

"like you'd go around the world as a party of 4 - y'know, like the final fantasy staple - and you'd have to pick and choose your party members based on the situation because you can't fit them all in there, and they'd all have different roles and strengths-"
