i may not have done it much in the past, but i actually really like working with my hands. i've wanted to make cosplay stuff - on at least some level - starting like a decade ago, but for various reasons (*cough* money, *cough* depression) had been unable to. back then i also used to think that my perfectionism would only be a hindrance in crafting, but it seems my perspective has flipped over at some point; i now see crafting as a chance to fulfill my craving for something to be just as i want it, as doing stuff myself means i get to have full control over the finished work!
now that i'm independent (and with some recent changes in attitude), i think i'm ready to really give it a shot!! :D
