The controllers for the Index are probably its best 'sexy' feature. You also get the advantage that it runs in SteamVR directly with no extra junk on top.
Vive Pro Eye gets you eye tracking but I can tell you right now that you don't need it. I'd go with an Index if you're looking for something fancier/less-Facebook than a Quest + link cable.
