But there is nothing more violent than the violence capitalism and fascism enact on a daily basis, and to keep in accordance with the interdependence and impermanence of all things I should do everything I can to oppose those forces, which in my opinion includes all forms of protest. Allowing the climate to collapse and people to suffer in poverty wouldn't be very buddhist after all.
