but here's the thing.
I found out about this project from Suzuki's website, after I clicked on the projects tab. before that I was looking at something he made with the Japanese company Gakken.

and its THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT?
and according to Suzuki's website (where the EZ Record Maker no longer exists under his projects tab) "Yuri Suzuki and his team designed the machine’s concept and interface, while Gakken took on a technical and manufacturing role. The collaboration began almost five years ago, after initial discussions around creating accessible DIY instruments."
however this product was released in 2020 according to Gakken's website

In fact Suzuki's page for the EZ Record Maker says that a US and UK release is planned just in time for christmas!... which doesn't seem to have happened...
very curious what has happened here.
