This game's now twenty years old, and still to my mind one of the very best examples of "Be careful what you wish for" the hobby's ever had. RE0's new features read like a laundry list of things a good (classic) Resident Evil game "should" have (and in a few cases almost did), but in practise... well, they just don't work.
Beautiful background renders though.
(Oh! And I'll never forgive this game for almost going with "Wesker picks off Bravo Team one by one" in the concept phase and then switching to "Singing leeches" instead :/)
God, this game. Every time I play this, it always want win that champion belt that RE Code Veronica has for most frustrating RE entry in the franchise.
And yet I'll play it again cuz I'm a glutton for punishment, it seems.
