has anyone developed a good way to do like... popup/clickable footnotes on here (ideally ones that work on both desktop and mobile)

Iirc @bazelgeuse-apologist was using some that worked on both, where they unfolded (is that the right term?) on click, but I think hasn't done it in a while?
I have something for this. I like to use an inline details blob to do expandable footnotes basically. Here's a Configurator. https://yal.cc/tools/cohost/inline-details-generator/ I used to do tooltips but they don't work on mobile. This does, as a nice tappable box.
