Oh but of course! Gotta have those landmarks visible. Gotta wonder how all the folks in the city are managing. Maybe they don’t even know anything changed!
Hehehe! Maybe. I'd like to think that they keep going about their day the same as before with the exception that they've all noticed that for whatever reason they've started feeling like thousands of pounds of pressure is squeezing in on them at all times ;)
Double metaphor for capitalism because when the macro gets thirsty and goes to a massive "them sized" vending machine to get a drink, popping a couple of city tokens into the machine to dispense a can of "King Size Cola," they're literally exchanging the lives of alllll those people trapped in those coins for a good that isn't worth the cost at all ;)
