hyper specific pet peeve i never complain about directly because i generally agree with the sentiment but my eye twitches when someone complains something something capitalism but the particular thing they're angry about is a facet of commerce and the fact that in some cases things are more expensive because they require additional labor and that labor should be compensated, not necessarily because an exploitative weasel at the top is gouging you
capitalism really wants us to believe it's synonymous with markets existing, and I've found that one of the two most consistently frustrating things to guide people out of (the other is conflating personal and private property)
