Every next picture feels like slipping further into a fever dream of an alternate dimension where architecture is just different than it is in our reality.

UGLY ARCHITECTURE!

That's right! We've got it! All here!

Look at all these chairs! Look at `em, they're great, they're office chairs. Who wants to sit on them? Not me!

Looking for ugly architecture? Then you've come to the right place! Just ugly, ugly architecture.

I don't know enough about grow operations to say for sure, but this just feels like a place that had been built specifically to house a grow op using the cheapest and most readily available building supplies that would take the least amount of time to install... and then when it ceased to be useful for that, it was quickly refitted with, again, the cheapest and most readily available furnishings so it could sorta kinda look like it was lived in maybe, and be sold off.

There isn't a single drop of paint in the entire place and its a heckuva lot faster to slap siding up on all the walls and the ceiling of a 4000 square foot place than it would be to paint them. Not sure about the carpet though. The box fans in the walls make me think of the most slapdash ventilation system imaginable too.

The fact that this place was built all the way back in 2004 and is in Reyno, AR, right on the border with Missouri where they got recreational marijuana passed just two years ago, makes me think that if it was a grow op, the operators just lost a good chunk of their local demand and well... real estate is booming!

After seeing the outside: Oh, this looks like it was a barn that was clumsily and a little ineptly converted into a home. A little silly but really not too outrageous on net.
After seeing the inside: ◉_◉

Ma'am, as someone who is currently looking for a new home here in the UK, this is seriously unsettling. I'm getting vibes that this was a quick conversion from like a town/country social club barn of establishment....

I do strongly prefer this explanation to the other hypothesis I've seen, which is that it was a Quiverful house. Either way it's bizarre and completely slapdash. Vinyl siding would make sense for a grow house, since it would be durable and waterproof.
