Ever since the MTG Bloomburrow set released, I've had a real pining for that old-school Redwall style critter adventure. I'm not much on giving money to WotC, but I idly remembered that I have Small Saga, the critter-centric RPG, in my Steam library.
I have only just barely begun playing it, and I think I love it tremendously. Mechanically it is very much a standard RPG, but the story and the setting are charming and engaging. It's just really fun to see the way the world has been crafted, and getting to know all the characters so far. Plus, the character designs are just so good! I love the way they get creative with outfits, structures, and weapons.
