Transformation and vore aren't my kinks, but I do appreciate how your version doesn't include death or anything terrifying like that. It's more comforting that way, cause I dislike the whole permanence and death of things that people often depict in their kinks.

Also when in doubt, use cartoon logic lol.

My take on this is very similar. When anyone is "destroyed" in my stories (and hopefully future art) it's roughly stated that their consciousness blissfully "floats away" to wherever they respawn and that the respawning happens basically instantaneously. They may not regain consciousness immediately depending on the circumstances, but they usually wake up pretty quickly and have to deal with a body that's pleasurably hypersensitive for several hours.

I also tend to state that during that time they can feel pleasant "aftershocks" of whatever it was that destroyed them; if they popped like a balloon they usually feel cool tingly lines spiderwebbing all over their body that represent all the little rubbery shreds they had become, if they were flattened to the point of not being able to be restored they feel like they're being sandwiched under a massive weight, if they melted or were liquefied in some way they feel pleasantly warm and experience a constant gentle sloshing sensation, etc.

It kind of removes the thoughts of dread and mortality when the act of respawning and aftermath are treated as inherently satisfying and indulgent ^u^ Hedonist characters in a cartoon world? Time to remove all potential repercussions for excesses and replace them with incentives. These aren't Aesop's Fables. The moral of the story is, do what feels good. =w=

This is 100% my thoughts and approach to this sorta stuff in both Vore and TF as well. Kink expression things are very much for the love, appreciation and enjoyment of them and I don't want dread to ever even be a thought in someones mind during it.
