Are you looking for more mythological accuracy, to the djinn? More pop-culture sensibility? If so, reflecting what media? How do you feel about the rules of your vessel? For that matter, do you want a bottle or a lamp? Something else?
The transformation process would reflect what you desire. What your heart desires, even if your mouth doesn't speak it. If you want something soft and gentle, you get that. If you want something showy? Yeah, we'll have pillars of smoke and magical explosions, complete with a near magical-girl level transformation sequence. You want it to happen, but not be your fault, due to years of societal osmotic judgement rendering you unable to recognize or voice your own needs? We work with that.
