I was such a fan of these my first time playing them that I was kind of flabbergasted they didn't hit it off more, especially when people were tired of Sony's Sad Dad shtick for a while beforehand.
2 is one of my favorite game sequels, like, ever, imo. Like, even a suped-up PC port could be nice (and I would play one) but since the developers kind of don't exist anymore, I sadly doubt it'll get a revival or third game of any kind.
That rumor of a movie sounds fucking hysterical though.
