If not the best in the entire franchise, definitely the best since the original trilogy by a mile. Great cases, really interesting new mechanics, and a overarching plot that doesn't feel like its relevant to just the finale and nothing else.
Also, man, Sholmes is a goddamn joy.
Great games, come highly recommended to anyone who likes adventure games, puzzle games, or visual novels as a whole!
