i'm sort of lowkey of the opinion that that reactionary actors have through botting, AI and algorithim manipulation figured out how to abuse social media so effeciently that we need to actually burn the entire god damn thing to the ground and start abolishing a lot of these sites and the technology that drives them. Because the alternative is escalations in everyone abusing these kinds of tactics until we all go fucking insane drowning in amplified, rapidly-deployed shotgun-spread harassment tactics and we're all firebombing eachother with every successive moral panic.
