I picked “eighty-foot wolfgal” when I was designing* Trouble because it rolled off the tongue, but it’s been fun forcing myself to work within that particular framework. Seven stories is far from unfathomable, but a seven-story critter can cover a city block in ten steps and pick up a car like it was a can of beans. She’s large enough to be powerful intrinsically, but small enough that she can focus it at a specific person.

'focus on one person' is a good way of crystallizing into words an upper macrolimit that i've always kind of felt around but never been able to really define in a satisfactory way to myself or others!

it is true that it's a good size for focusing on one specific person in general, but we've seen what you can do to one person while far larger...
(though admittedly 80ft is still a pretty good size for voice chat to still work properly :v)
