i havent recieved this update yet so unsure how it looks in the rest of the ui (i grabbed this from twitter) but it's a lot more straight and a lot more thin. main problems:

big one is that it seems really unfriendly for those with dyslexia and many have complained about it
lots of charcter support has been removed including cryllic / greek, and japanese symbols with only 3 kana supported (guesss what - its ones in discord's default shrug / tableflip kaomoji)
trying to scale the ui / font past 100% results in weird stretching

this change is a hate crime against me specifically, as l use a lowercase L instead of a capital i as it's easier to type

if you hadn't yet noticed that l use an L, l'm sorry

anyway it's actually not my problem at all, it's the reader's problem now. changing ones typing style is difficult, so l'm sorry in advance lol

characters with heavy diacratics (such as vietnamese) are actually fixed
maybe they're just progressively deploying the font for different languages, slowly

imo the ''g'' in this font deserves to be bullied. use the one from the original italics instead, not this squiggly shape
