absolutely planning outfits around the Wings. even if i decide that they're not Always There every outfit has to take into account like. what if i Want to stretch my wings and stuff y'know? it's a whole ordeal. i'd have to ask my sibling to alter literally all of my tops. it'd be a Hassle.

Chairs and pants are so incompatible with tails.

it's not like i have a driver's license even now but there is simply no configuration that lets me drive a car if i'm four feet tall and my tail is the size of the rest of me

You would think it would be the massive tail, but that’s something that you’d eventually get the muscle memory for - remembering to swish it out of the way of doors you’re about to close and the like. (EDIT: And also, a bit of craftiness as far as ergonomics and clothing are concerned. Probably would be a good idea to take up sewing as a hobby. However, still not more inconvenient than...)

What would actually cause the most inconvenience in terms of being my sona, as designed, would be the lack of opposable thumbs. There’s a lot of things I’d take for granted that would suddenly take a lot more effort to accomplish, and on top of that, it’d probably get a bit tiring after a while hearing folks tease me about being a raccoon that doesn’t have opposable thumbs.

On the bright side, though, I’d probably eventually develop one hell of a good grip.

This question raises the interesting point of like, why do these idealized versions of ourselves incorporate problems? I think my ideal scenario would be Jekyll and Hyde, which seems like a nightmare?

with high-mounted wings, naturally, you'll need to wear a lot of tops that can either be closed in the back afterwards, or just open. either way, that's not the worst part.

the worst part is that the human form's center of mass is pretty close to the pelvic region, give or take. this means that if you tried to fly head-first, the wind would catch your wings and immediately throw you legs first. because of this, your options are a bit limited:

1. ironically, a wingsuit

2. try to glide face forward, legs down. you may need to be wearing a tail to steer...

3. happens as a result of failure to 2: autorotation. this is arguably worse than plummeting itself.

100% all the fox fur. Not only because of shedding and it getting e v e r y w h e r e, but also because it'd be really annoying to wash all of it without using gallons of shampoo.
