i think i might be turning into george costanza. everything about the playdate sounds like something id go nuts for. but that lever makes me fucking homicidal.
its so fake. its fake in exactly the way a band slamming synth sounds in the background of their latest album for "a creative new sound" is fake. its fake in the exact same way that one kid in 8th grade puts on a flower pin and puts on their best practiced "hiiiiiii!" its fake in the way every single indie guy who wants to be daniel johnston again is fake. it dreams so big its stupid. and here on the ground floor of reality it demands a couple hundred dollars and that Only Pros get to develop for it.
im so happy to know im rethinking games apparently. this isnt just what the past 20 years was.
