for being so heavily inspired by Coil, it really is almost sad how little autechre goes for full-on ambient or drone despite it always being such a lovingly interwoven part to all their music, because when they go for it, they knock it out of the park compared to entire careers.
one of my favorite pieces in the genre, it holds such an acceptance for the void. space isnt for you, but that doesn't mean it has to be scary.
