Interesting question: do you prefer your anthro creatures having similar dietary restrictions as their real-life counterparts, or for them to be as omnivorous as us silly monkeys so they can enjoy all your favorite foods?
Jaida is shameless wish fulfillment. If they can't have anything and everything that I might like, what's the point?!
Though I do also like the logistics of how 'true' dietary requirements and such would play out. Worldbuilding on that kind of scale is a lot of fun to work through as a thought experiment, but my eighteen foot tall cat monster creature can most definitely chomp chocolate, obliterate onions, and drink dairy.
