I will say that whenever I think about commenting on porn, I'm afraid of tripping the "don't leave horny comments" alarm, so I don't bother. I think you're absolutely right on the cause.
I personally was always deeply confused by people who literally draw porn and but also don't want you to say anything horny about it.
I always leave very well-articulated comments because that's how I personally like to comment. But hard agree tho, I have no idea why everybody else is so afraid to be thirsty in the comment sections of literal pornography. Like... Isn't that the point?
Not specifically I can understand why people abstain from that on actual posts. If the op isn't okay with you just saying some abhorrent degenerate stuff like seeing to girls getting it on and say I want to stick my dick in there or room for one more or see two guys railing and typing I wish they'd rail my pussy so most don't just put that for the op to just see.
Okay, this is just me being a grammar nut, but some punctuation would really help here. It's really hard to tell when a quote ends and when your statements begin.
But yeah, I get what you mean. Part of the reason I leave comments like, "That's Cute", "Fantastic work", and "I love their hair here", is because I feel uncomfortable leaving those explicit comments; and part of that is because most folks aren't into it.
Speaking only for myself, I hesitate to add comments because I either feel like I don't add much, like "Dang those tits!" or whatever, or that there's already a dozen comments and what I like has already been mentioned and I don't want to be Comment #5 saying how great the boobs are like the artist hasn't gotten the hint by now.

It's... Tricky, isn't it? We're all familiar with the RP/smutty chat style spaces alongside general art, kink, perorming, all those kinds of spaces. And like. A sufficiently horny comment isn't too far removed from bring that space out here, isn't it? It's not QUITE uninvited touch, but I can't help but feel there's some "cosplay is not consent" resonance around the idea.
