I have a friend who I've watched transition via their profile pic, and the only time we have talked in the past decade is when they congratulated me for getting into the Dark Souls series.

its absolutely incredible i love seeing how absurd the steam profiles of people i havent talked to in like 5 years get nowadays. connecting with another person indirectly, just in passing. quite beautiful.
i forget other people have likely thought the same of me though. makes a guy wonder
