My own webcomics bookmark folder, frozen in amber since I was much more involved in the scene circa ~2000-2005. Certainly some of these don't hold up (Sinfest). Some are forgotten and hidden gems. I don't read any regularly these days but every now and then I will Peruse to see who's still going or died off or which ones shifted from 20-somethings complaining about video games to fighting cybergods in a dystopian hellscape.

Saying something like "you have a tf fetish" or "you are transgender" or "so tell me what else you found on literotica way back when" would be too obvious, so instead we'll go with

every day, you turn up to watch someone stare story progression and thoughtful pacing in the eye and go "what if instead of talking about that, i tried to FIX that LORE MISTAKE I MADE about TEN YEARS AGO" and write their way into 5 new corners. is the fact that they keep making everyone gayer while doing this really worth it? are you that desperate to watch someone stumble into queerness in between their 90th baffling lore dump?

(i am sorry if this comes across as too mean i also read egs lol)

i have said for literal years that the best thing shive could do for egs is to can it and start a new story from scratch. they have the skills, following, and experience to write a new good story instead of insisting that eventually they can turn egs into something that can eventually fix all of its old mistakes

Gunnerkrigg and Dresden Codak are both works that have really levelled up their art over the last decade or two. I had the first three Gunnerkrigg books back in the day. I have Hob as a hardback, somewhere, in the wrong country.

the pace picked up from Pitch Drop to Regular Glacier-Style Webcomic after Senna Diaz started HRT and there's a "Gender Fluid" joke in here somewhere that I don't have the brainpower to extract right now

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
xkcd
if you count it as mac hall Three Panel Soul
Cat and Girl
Cyanide & Happiness
Gunnerkrigg Court

But you don't need to roast me. I'm already the guy who inspired a webcomic about how I'm a useless loser that should kill myself, which got linked on the front page of MegaTokyo, back when MegaTokyo was the king of all webcomics.

sometimes I just hit "random" on Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal for hours and hours and hours

Every year or two I try to catch up on Girl Genius and it's increasingly complex glacially slow plot
