As a follow-up to the webcomic bookmarks:

Of that list specifically:

Unsurprisingly, about 80% of those links are fully dead. I didn't hunt down if they're still going at another site yet, admittedly.
Of the rest, most seemed to burn out or fade away circa 2015-16, with a few still going as of 2021-22. That's like 15-20 year runs for some of them!
11 are still actively producing comics as of Nov 2023: Dominic Deegan, QC, Sam & Fuzzy, SMBC, Sinfest, Scary Go Round, Wapsi Square, Zebra Girl, Johnny Wander/Barbarous, Sister Claire and xkcd.
I think I need to catch up on Wapsi Square.

I haven't dug through, I know at least a couple of those ended at some point and seem to have started up again, but yeah I was real surprised to see that one have a recent post.

Sister Claire is still going?? I havent thought about it in so long, I mustve been like twelve when I first found it. Also, I know why, and its depressing, but Sinfest pointedly not being linked amongst the others did make me laugh a bit. In my mind I choose to believe it stopped in like 2011
