It's always funny when I say that I hate my body and someone's like "oh but you're beautiful just the way you are" because like yeah sure I agree and I did a lot of both hormonal and emotional work to get there but my fellow resident of the universe I am talking about the tendon issues, diabetes and GI problems
I get people's impulses but sometimes verbally acknowledging something sucks and is bad is its own form of coping with it and hitting folks with "no but you're good actually :) :) :)" is just going to make it worse for reasons beyond the initial complaint.
