I appreciate hearing you dig it! The thing about body types for me is a, I like to see some level reality reflected in the characters I design, even if some parts are being exaggerated, which really just means seeing a variety represented and b, body shape is a big part of communicating character through visual design. Which isn't to say a real person is gonna be defined by how they look, obviously, but you can still use it to sell elements of a fictional character's personality or backstory through how they're shaped, built, weathered, etc. So it's rarely a specific element I have in mind when I start a design but what can I give them to help tell a story as soon as you see them.
