I'm generally pro-arachnid across the field (except ticks...) but scorpions are some of the favorites. To tie it into the earlier ask about rhinos and fursona choices, they're also kind of the 'shy loners with bad reputations who're built like a tank' of their grouping, and just aesthetically very cool. If I hadn't been assigned spider as a fursona, scorpion was probably second or close to it on the short-list of choices I was rotating in my head.
