I don't know much about many things, but I wonder if the whole "The Global South will be hit by global warming way harder than the North!" thing ever took in consideration that the average South American can cope with really hot temperatures with more ease, plus have houses build to disperse heat instead of conserving it and that are probably already equipped with AC, even an old and barely working (but working) one, while most Europeans, Russians and Canadians probably never even needed an AC in their lives, so don't own one and won't even be able to buy a second hand one if they have no money?
