Sex sells, I don't think that's what keeps the capitalists away. It's the perception of cringe that keeps the capitalists away. Anyone with money in the English-speaking world is an old dude and that means they think furries are some combination of that one CSI episode and some kinda old stereotype of "basement-dwelling nerd losers" or whatever.
