As promised, here's part 2 of the Jam restaurants! Go have a look at part 1 first if you haven't already. But the TL;DR of it is that I'm making concept banners for fictitious restaurants in San Francisco owned and operated by alternate color pallet Jams.
Default Color 01 Jam: homestyle cooking
Default Jam opened a homestyle eatery. The interior decor is a bit dated and the service isn't top notch, but the food is amazing. It has 3.5 stars on Yelp which is the theoretical ideal for Chinese food. You'll find this place in the outer Richmond.
Color 15 Jam: cafe/bakery
Matcha colored Jam opens a cafe that serves baked goods, sweet bao, and drinks. The cakes are the kind that have a more eggy flavor profile with not so sweet frosting. You'll find this bakery somewhere on Irving in the Inner Sunset.
In all, I liked doing these concepts as it allowed me to play around with color and typefaces. I was kind of into fonts around this time and having both Chinese text alongside English text presented in interesting challenge to keep the overall vibe of each logo consistent.
