this is a tough question to answer for a few reasons (but i still have stuff to say and some suggestions!):
first, i don't play bbtag, so i don't know very much about how the game works, much less the specifics of any team.
second and more importantly, usually there's not just one thing that's gonna help you win more. getting better at a fighting game is all about identifying the different ways in which you're getting bodied and then working on minimizing whatever those are.
super oversimplified advice that should work for any game though: try to stay in spaces where you can hit your opponent with your moves while not getting hit by theirs.
to help with this, look back at your replays:
- what's happening that's causing you to get hit, lose ground and get pushed to the corner? are you throwing out unsafe moves on the opponent's block and getting punished? whiffing moves and getting punished? using moves with slow startup and getting counterhit out of them? are you simply walking yourself back to the corner because you're playing defensively?
- when you are in and attacking, are you able to keep your opponent blocking very long? are they mashing quick normals or using invincible moves to beat gaps in your pressure? Are you mixing your pressure enough that you're actually landing hits, or is the opponent just able to block until you mess up?
- when you DO land attacks, are you able to complete your combos? Are you running whatever setplay your characters have on knockdowns? Dropping combos midway through can leave you in worse situations than not doing the combo sometimes.
since I don't really know BBTAG, here's a link to a match database. watch some other people playing your team and see what kinds of things they do. change p2's characters at the top of the site if you wanna see specific matchups.
also, playing with friends or a community and talking about your matches can be a great way to identify spots to improve.
i wish you luck on your journey!
