Since the opening of a small, very nice, bar in the rural-esque town I live in, it's been very funny going in to pick up beers. Folks carry a lot of white guilt and they have to share, at least after drinking for a bit.
I haven't left the place once without some sort of "this racist thing used to exist" story or awkwardly prolonged touches, mostly from the older women.
Not offended, but it's still a bit funny.
